About Space Club

Space Club was launched in 2014 by Natasha Wilkerson, an aerospace engineer turned STEM Director of Communities In Schools of San Antonio. From launching rockets to designing rovers, students engaged in hands-on engineering and space exploration activities. The year-long STEM program culminated in a city-wide Space Colony Competition where students presented designs of a new world to STEM professionals.

Space Club is now available to educators around the world through the launch of the Space Club Educator's Portal! Over 500 schools and organizations now utilize the online curriculum and training resources to launch their own Space Club!

The Cosmic Leap Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was established in 2023 to manage Space Club with the support of Vivify, LLC.
